ksolike, a few weeks ago, I bought a bunch of books on Java from a thrift store.

[they're a few years old but I still know that I'll learn from them.]

I'm completely new to Java and I'm going to attempt to learn it.

any tips on it?

I have a book "Instant Java", haha it is so old. I never really got into it. I think I might soon though :) There is a course I am going to take (Programmer/Analyst) and it teaches some Java. Should be good.
